An Amazing Find
So I was surfing around on Amazon a little while ago, because someone has a birthday coming up, and I remembered a conversation ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lennaofmidearth and I had a few days ago. I was mentioning shows I wanted to collect on DVD, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys was one of them. I remembered the store prices being reasonable - 40-60 for a season - and wondered what good deals I could get on Amazon. So I typed it in, and got all different seasons. I saw something labeled 'Season 1 DVD - 14.99$'. I assumed this was a couple of episodes on one or two DVDs. I click to see which ones.
No. It is: all five movies, the entire first season and two DVDs worth of extra features. For 14.99. Brand new. This is the Amazon price. This is insane. But, hey, if Amazon wants to go nuts about their prices, fine by me.
Needless to say, I've got me some Hercules coming my way! I cannot put into words how thrilled I am at a deal like that!
Also, forgive me but I'm going to be getting sappy for a moment.
I am extremely lucky in that I have some of the most amazing friends ever - both online and off. There are certain people who I have known for years, and who I can depend on, and who have been there for me, and who really mean a lot to me. I don't say it enough, and god knows I don't say it to them enough, but I like to think that they know who they are. And the small shit doesn't mean anything, for me, when you get right down to it.
Also, I ate half a bowl of chicken ramen today. With crackers. I started craving curry ramen and a hum bow halfway through, though. Why is it that when I'm sick I'm hit with the weird food cravings?
