And my friends are busy teaching me other languages, like Latin and Korean and Mandarin and Japanese and Spanish and Italian and German and Portuguese and Punjabi. Oh, and sign language, but that's easy (two of my friends are deaf and four of my classmates are; there are signers in most of my classes anyway). Greek, Dutch, Swedish, Gallic (whatever we can glean from texts), etc. Most of my friends are bilingual or trilingual. It's not unheard of for a kid to put "Konichiwa" at the beginning of a speech and "A bientot" at the end. Genkigenkigenki. Hee. I can write my name in Korean, and swear in German. So much fun.

And the teachers have forbidden us from signing during tests. I don't know why, signing is sort of hard to apply to an essay. They've finally caught on to some of our words, the swears and such. Now we have to go find new teachers and new languages to learn so we can mock them in them.
