I am 69% Video Game Addict.
Video games are a big portion of my life, maybe too big of a portion. They are not a means of social interaction, despite what I might think. I should just go outside.
Which isn't a big surprise to anyone who knows me. In fact, I just spent all day playing Devil May Cry. I'm going to try and beat it tonight, which I think I may well do. I've done about 11 missions already. And
nekokoban had a brilliant idea, which is make this week Gaming Week. We've got a system, we've got the accessories, we've got a Hollywood Video right down the street with a fully stocked game section. I'd say something brash and boastful like 'we plan on going through a game a day' but that would mean ignoring pretty much everything else that I do all day, which I'm not about to do. But I think we can get through a fair amount. The only reason I'm updating this right now is because I hit a jumping level and needed to take a few steps back before I broke my special controller. That, and I need to make dinner -lamb sausage with spinach, grapes and homemade flat bread - before I forget. Then afterwards it will be back to the video games.
If anyone has any recs for action/adventure type games with real time fighting, let me have'em!

Prince of Persia (I have not played the sequel, but the first is so great.)
Beyond Good & Evil (If you can find it.. it's cheap too. And wonderful.)
Hopefully I'm not recommending something you've already played. ;)
