It's interesting that you wrote about their similiarities -- in the essay for ship_manifesto that I'll be posting tomorrow, I talked about how they seem like opposites on the surface, but they really are a lot alike, and I talked about them both being touched by Dark Magic, being secretive and guarded, and being outcasts. So basically, I'm in complete agreement with your points here. *g*
