I finally pumped out a drabble.

Severus/Remus
PG
As fluffy as those two get.
Heavily inspired by rivendellrose's Remus, and his love of playing in the snow.




Severus loved the snow in theory. He enjoyed the way it looked, the stark white against the black of the winter trees. He enjoyed the monochrome simplicity of the grounds when they were blanketed in nothing but unblemished white. But he didn’t enjoy it up close, didn’t enjoy the way snow stung or melted to freezing wet down the back of his robes. He enjoyed snow from a distance. He simply didn’t understand Lupin’s love of mucking about in the stuff and getting chilled to the core.

But warming up afterwards....

Severus enjoyed that part of snow quite a bit.

Awwww. That's so cute! And so very Severus - I can completely see him grumbling and growling about the cold and bitching and whining until Remus gives in and agrees that they go in. And still grousing, even when they're snuggled up in blankets in front of the fire with a big old mug of hot cocoa. *Sighs*

Hmm... now I sort of wish it was winter.
