I'd Tell You My Secrets But They Make Me Feel a Little Crazy...

Yesterday did not go as planned. Mainly due to me repeatedly falling asleep without intending to. Falling asleep while I'm watching TV isn't anything new, but falling asleep while I'm playing a video game has never happened before. Turns out yesterday was a very bad day - I finally crashed for good around 11:30 maybe? I fell asleep while watching The Skeleton Key, woke up when Desperation was almost over - sadface, I'd been intending to catch it before bed - and fell back asleep after being sick and confused for perhaps half an hour. (When I wake up during the night and it's before 4:00 AM, I tend to get confused and thrown off because I think I've slept through the night until I see a clock.)

Danni's coming over! Apparently in like fifteen minutes! I really should find a new RPG for us to play, since now there's no need to level up (which is what Danni does when we play an RPG) and I'm afraid she'll get bored with a third playthrough, but we're both perfectly happy to just go through LO again.

Eventually we'll get Bayonetta. Which is not an RPG, but still a terribly shiny game. And ridiculously interesting in terms of female sexuality and marketing, in regards to video games. I plan to write something on that once I've finished/seen the whole game.

Oh! Speaking of video games! Welcome to the new friends that have joined the insanity recently!

I should go and unlock the door for Danni.

While not an RPG, I highly recommend The Saboteur. Or as I called the project while I worked on it, "Grand Theft Wolfenstein Solid."

Bayonetta is really fun. <3 If you want another RPG, Last Remnant is fun, challenging, and super cheap right now.

It is! We rented it, and made it through like 24 chapters. I love the design, I love the characters, I can't follow the story for the life of me but I don't care!

What system is that for?

Xbox 360 and PC. I have the 360 version but the PC version came out later and has tweaked quests and stuff, but on the 360 version you can download a few things to unlock cool monster hunts--on the PC you have to do amazing things to unlock these same hunts. So unless you're up for playing FOREVER to unlock some extra goodies, I say get the 360 version. Story and characters are the same.
