I HAVE A MODELING GIG!

This week I will be meeting with one of the local college art professors to set up posing as a model for their class!

It's 30 dollars a session, roughly a two week gig. And yes, it's that sort of college art class, but I am perfectly a-okay with that. We've been chatting through e-mail about it, and Professor Cohen is very easy to work with and apparently a really good professor.

I also have a house-keeping gig. ;) While I may not be rolling in the dough, it looks like I'll at least be able to scrape rent together!

I kind of hope I get prints of the photos. Nija is familiar with the professor, and apparently his advanced class is really good. I'm going tomorrow to meet with him and the class and sign the stuff I need to sign, and then I'm all set!

8DDD that's AWESOME! Drawing the model was my favorite part of the Drawing class. Augh, I'm jealous now. XD

It's actually a photography class, but I'm hoping this leads to other modeling positions for various art classes. :D I'm so excited!

And...since you've actually taken these sorts of classes...is it weird at all? Or is everybody pretty cool and comfortable with it?

My class was really cool with it. :D I was especially giddy because I got so sick of doing still lifes. It was all very professional, too, because as I see it, if you're in college, you should be mature enough to act like a responsible adult anyway. And our model was really cool, too. :D
