Holy crap, I missed an update yesterday!

I ended up essentially lost in RP stuff for all the day. Both posting stuff and behind the scenes. :D Between Fan Fiction Day at CU and damned stuff, I just completely forgot to update my own LJ!

There are few things more awesomely hilarious than your RP characters finding fan fiction about themselves. And there were abundant pickings for my Silent Hill pups. Poor Henry's still not sure what to make of all these stories involving Walter doing 'disturbing things' to him. Or why there's a good chunk of art and fiction about him and his landlord's son. But he liked some of those Eileen ones...;)

Maria got a kick out of it all. And is enjoying using the whole thing to tease Reno. Plus, she and Frank bonded a little, which is always good.

Myre...well, there is no fan fiction for her, so I had to get creative and turn a few RP logs into fic. :D But it's a good starting point for her to learn how to control her emotions a bit better. (She's still in Sith training.)

(For those of you wondering what CU is, it's a very fun, on-the-light-side, low-stress RP I'm in over on IJ. Chaos Unraveled: The Ultimate Chessgame. The basic premise is God and Satan have decided to end things entirely, and have chosen teams to represent Heaven and Hell, to do battle against each other in various trials to decide the fate of the universe. We especially need members for Hell's team right now...*hint hint*)

I can't post about the other stuff I'm working on, as it's a surprise. :D But it shall be awesome!

Uh...Nikk and Aryn came over Thursday night, and brought their puppy to visit! We watched some South Park and hung out, then picked up Nija from work. I'm going over their place later today, I think, to watch some Asian horror movies.

For now...I am hungry and desire pancakes.

I had such a blast RPing yesterday. I meant to post about it but I finally had to go to sleep.

Eileen liked some of the Henry/Eileen stories too. Though she wasn't enamored of the stories where Walter did disturbing things to her either. (I'm guilty of at least one of those... XD)

And Frank secretly wishes he had really met Cynthia, even if he's still slightly confused over the idea of snogging an old detective with a beard.

(I didn't even know there was so much James/Henry fic. Go figure.)

Hahah, yes. Henry has to admit, he got some ideas. :D Yeah, he was pretty disturbed by those, too. Poor guy.

Henry, uh, can't blame him for that. ;) He felt so guilty talking about her with Frank.

(Me neither! There's a ton of art, too. I guess it's the whole 'one attractive guy + another attractive guy = Good Idea' theory of fandom.)

Aw, Eileen tries not to be the jealous type. But it's probably better she didn't see that whole conversation, all the same.

(She is kind of glad Henry didn't get excited and ask for details of the stories about her and Cynthia.)

I almost dragged in that infamous fanart called "Eileen pays the rent" where she's uh, giving Frank a special favor in the hallway. But it's not as fun when I play both characters.

Hahahaha, yeah, I can see that. It's the same reason I didn't bother with the Henry/Maria art I found. (Which, while good, was a bit mind-boggling.)

Heee! Man, it was so fun and bizarre having the characters react to the fics. I've never really gotten to do that before - plus, hey, awesome excuse to go read new fic! I found some really good ones I'd never seen before.

Though I think Maria could have benefited from the chapter I planned to post, where it showed that it was James rejecting her that was responsible for her situation. So she wasn't a "lesbian hooker" originally, it was James' rejection which pushed her to work at Heaven's Night, and the rest came later. ;)

I wonder what she would have made of that? She has kind of a love-hate relationship with him (or his memory) in Chaos, doesn't she? She loves him, but she realizes he didn't love her, or particularly want her.

I play her at Parabolical, but I kind of went overboard with her quirky personality at first. I've toned her down a bit. Lisa made a massively stupid error in judgment on there (she's also played by me), so Maria's helping her through that.
