Find out Which Marvel Superhero Are You at LiquidGeneration.com!

Kind of not surprising, really. :D

Went to the square today and got the ink I need to dye my Lamika wig! Also got quite a bit of exercise, as it was ridiculously hot today.

I've found myself becoming very crafty lately. I'm throwing myself into DYI, and now I'm branching out to bath products. For once I'm going to need some willing guinea pigs to rub things on themselves rather than eat things. *eyes roommate and local friends* Mainly, I'm just trying every avenue to generate an income that I can. Salsas, jams, bath products, whatever. I may even get myself an Etsy page.

I'm also considering taking up knitting.

I really do wish we still used the trade system. I may not have cash, but I can make things! Ah well, here's hoping at least some of this stuff will be worth trading cash for.

We should consider a trip to Joannes in the near future. And I am sure I can find some crafty stuff there to help make stuff too. And for the knitting, GO FOR IT! I have plenty of yarn and stuff to help you get started.

Also I am always willing to be a guinea pig for things. I promise I won't eat the bath products! :D

When I have money to buy things. The garden and the bath products are probably what I'm going to be focusing on, since I know I can do them. Whoot, awesome.

It is tempting, I discovered. The stuff I made today smells like cinnamon sugar cookies...

Damn money and our lack of it!

How did it do with the skin? Since it doesn't appear as though your skin is melting off or we needed to go to the hospital or anything I am going to assume it did what it was supposed to.

BTW speaking of projects, would you happen to have a needle and navy blue thread? I think I want to try hanging that curtain in the bathroom this week.

Apparently there are places where exchanging goods and services is still going on. We just don't live in one of them, unfortunately. :/

where might these places be? and damn, it would be nice to live in a place that DID do it >.>

It might be worth finding out if there's any kind of time bank system in your area. I've heard about it over here. Basically, you trade time. So you could arrange, say, to cook a meal for a hairdresser in exchange for getting a haircut. Stuff like that, but it's organised so that no-one gets ripped off.

.........I have never, ever heard of this practice before but now I'm praying we have something like it. That is how things should be done!

There are few networks that allow people to barter, but perhaps not in your neck of the woods. I'm not sure anyone is near my neck of the woods. I am supposed to making gel candles. I may sell them on Etsy. One of my best local friends has a shop there.
