When You Think It's Too Late....You're Saved
For once, I come bearing amazing, life changing news.
Within a few months - perhaps even as little as one - I will finally be out of my parent's house. While I am extremely thankful to them for allowing me to live under their roof, in my own area, rent free, as most people know, they live far outside of town on a ranch in the midst of nowhere.
Thanks to an amazing turn of circumstances,
nijawial and I have an opportunity to live in town, in our own house. And we're taking it. We also have employment opportunities. And I won't have to worry about living alone with my health conditions, or being far away from necessities, or anything like that.
The area we're moving into is central to everything, with grocery stores, gas stations, the square, and various other needed businesses all within walking distance.
The house we're looking at is 900 square feet, washer and dryer on property, two bedrooms one bath, fenced yard, screened porch, at the end of a cul-de-sac.
I can't even put into words how shocked and overwhelmed I am that this has come together for us. It's no secret that while I love my parents and am well taken care of, I'm miserable here. And I have been, for some time. And lately, as my close friends know, I've been feeling adrift and as though my life is wasting away.
And now this comes along. Lady Luck has smiled on us, and opportunity has knocked, and we need to take this.
I'm finally moving out, folks! Nearly thirty years old, unemployed, crippled and lost, but it's happening.
Who says karma doesn't work? :D
