It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas....

Still freezing. Still stuffy. And I can't find my cold weather jammies. But, it's starting to look like Christmas weather. It's cold and grey and wintery out. Perfect for baking, hot baths - damn, I need to restock on bath products - and curling up in bed with a video game.

Here's a recipe for you!



5 apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup butter, softened



Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Place apples in an 8x8 inch baking dish. Toss apples with syrup. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, oats, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, until topping is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Alright, I need to do a disk cleanup before I do anything else on my computer. He's feeling clogged again. I burnt off Death Note yesterday, and got rid of some other stuff, so now I will cleanup and hopefully he'll run better again.


And oh jeebus, I have so much to write. Gah!
