All Dante has to do is threaten Lust with hurting/maiming/dismembering/raping Haru and Lust will cave. She doesn't even need to go near him. I... actually don't recall off the top of my head. I think she can't transmute without an array, and her alchemy is weakened like the other alchemist's - five or so transmutations a night and then exhaustion.
