Recipe and Highlander Rec

So the stuffing came out delicious, and I thought I'd post the recipe for it for all of you. It's great for fall. I didn't use any measurements, so bear with me.

Cornbread
A chunk of melted butter
About half a cup of chicken broth
Chopped apples
Dried cherries
Dried cranberries
A little pinch of nutmeg

Crumbled up the cornbread and wet it in the broth. Mix in the butter so it's nice and sticky. Stir in the dried fruit and nutmeg and stuff it in your poultry or serve it as a side. Very simple, very yummy.

I know there's a lot of Highlander fans on my Flist, so I wanted to draw your attention to this video by [livejournal.com profile] lennaofmidearth. It's Horsemen-centric, dealing with Methos, Kronos and Cassandra. It's very well done, and I highly suggest any Highlander - or Peter Wingfield - fans check it out.

Darn you! My mouth is watering and it's hours till food will be ready. That recipe sounds so lovely I'm more than tempted to search out what our equivalent of cornbread is - or indeed whether I can get actual cornbread.

Hmmm. I made my cornbread out of a box... I would think you'd be able to find the mix for it over there. If you can find it, I'd love to hear what you think of the stuffing. I was sick of all the veggie stuffings so I wanted to do a fruit one. :D
