One of Those Things....
...That had to be an LJ update.
So, I've been having a bit of an issue with dandruff. So much so that I ended up with medicated shampoo for it. When I open it, I was struck by the smell. I brought it out to
nekokoban, who smelled it and had a sneezing fit. We realized it smelled exactly like the dog's shampoo. So, I grab the dog's shampoo. I compare the two active ingredients. They're the same. I read off one of the labels:
'Aides in the relief of dandruff, itching, dryness and other types of skin conditions.'
'For the relief of dandruff, itching, dryness, flaking and other skin conditions.'
One is form my shampoo, one is from the dog's shampoo.
There is one ingredient that's different. I smell like a grooming parlor. My sinuses will never recover.
And the kicker? The dog shampoo was a hell of a lot cheaper.
This so deserved my 'wtf-iest' icon.
