Holiday Traditions!

The Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 Holiday Traditions" and people who get tagged need to write a LiveJournal entry about their 5 holiday traditions as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged.

1. Telling Christmas stories with lennaofmidearth.

2. Baking! My family has a huge range of special goodies that are only baked around Christmas time. Fudge, russian tea cakes, meringue squares, peanut-butter toffee bars, etc. The special Christmas goodies that are looked forward to all year.

3. The Christmas Tree Light Fiasco. Every year, without fail, it's a pain in the ass to hang the lights. There is griping and groaning and there's always one light that doesn't work. Yes, this has become a tradition.

4. The Feasting of Snacks. Screw Christmas dinner, we have plates of snacks that are out all day for all day long snacking. Cheese, meat, seafood, chips, dip, crackers, sandwich fixings, and desserts. This ties in with the most important tradition of all:

5. The Playing of the Video Games. Every Christmas day is spent snacking and playing whatever new videogames have been gifted to us. And there are always video games. I can remember years and years back, watching lennaofmidearth play Lufia when it first came out. It is a time honoured and very important tradition to uphold!
