So...I just finished the first book of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

First off: completely hooked, addicted, whatever else you want to use for it. I am absolutely and completely in love with this series, and I am so glad I found it on Netflix. I marathoned the last two DVDs in the first season all morning. I need to shower, but once I have, I...may just jump right to the next season.

Second: damn, that finale hit me hard. :/

I confess, I cried with the whole Yue thing. That's what hit me the most.

I've met the dangerous ladies! Or so I assume...Azula and her feisty friends from school? And I assume I'm meeting Toph in the next episode on my que, since it's entitled 'The Blind Bandit'. Haha, I actually think I've been spoiled for a bunch of stuff already but...I think I seriously broke my spoiler phobia network while I was playing Lost Odyssey. Also, I don't remember many specifics other than shipping stuff. Which I don't care about anyway.

You have! <3 I love them all, especially Ty Lee. She's just so... god, it's like an animated Kaylee, almost.

And indeed you are! Toph is pretty much awesome made of win. (And a Mary Sue, but hell if I care, because SHE ROCKS)

Ty Lee is awesome! I haven't seen much of them yet, but...very much loving all the characters. :D

I don't care if she is a Mary Sue, she's a character with a disability. And she's a main character, from what I've gathered. And she rocks. And she's disabled!

I do love how this show has consistently awesome female characters. Katara, Suki, Yue, Toph, Azula, Ty Lee, Mai, even Song and Jin... <3333

I usually only pull out my "Toph is a Mary Sue" card when people try to play the "Katara is a Mary Sue" card.

But Toph is made of awesome, win, and other such things. And, lest we forget, is the greatest earthbender in the WORLD.

(Except for Bumi, who pretty much has over a hundred years of experience on her. Experience counts for something.)

Also, Sokka = Greatest Woob Ever. And my OTP is Iroh/Tea. The best expressed love on the show. ^_~

I have tried many, many times to watch the show, but no matter what, when I'd hit the middle of disc two, something would go wrong.

Sokka is hands down my favorite character. I kind of love him a whole lot. :D

Mm - I think I watched a good part of this series one episode a week and it was so frustrating sometimes! Because each episode kind of left me wanting more. *g*

(I haven't got a truly appropriate icon, but this one will do for the moment, I think. Yay for tea and people who like to drink tea.)
