Yay! Yeah, I never really warmed up to Myspace, and Livejournal is definitely my main networking/social/whatever site, but Facebook looks pretty easy and low stress as far as managing it and keeping up with it. Plus, I like the little status thing, it's great for quick updating without spamming the Flist!

Guinea pigs can be great pets! They do need a large cage and lots of space, and they can be very noisy when they get excited, but they're sweet and social animals. They're best in pairs, they love to be held and petted, and they can be hilarious to watch. They sometimes play by doing something called 'popcorning', which is essentially the piggy jumping around wildly and chirping like crazy. They have a lifespan of about 7-9 years, so they'll be with you for a good chunk of time. I definitely recommend them as pets for folks who are looking for a smaller animal, but something larger than a hamster or a gerbil and a bit more...personable.
