Hark Hear the Bells....
More Christmas shopping this morning! Took care of my nieces and nephews! Thankfully Nija was with me, and helped me find an outfit for my baby nephew K. Got my eldest niece, D, manga - it's pretty much what I always get her. I picked her up the first volume of Ranma 1/2. She's currently very into InuYasha - devoured the whole thing in a weekend and went and changed her email signature and everything - so I figure she should enjoy Ranma. Younger niece (A) got a magnetic jewelry making kit, older nephew (L) is getting a tractor type toy. He loves trains and construction equipment, so that should be good.
Now I just need to get my folks their gifts, and I'm all set.
And thanks to Spencer's epic, epic sale - with 50% off clearance t-shirts - I bought myself a little present. Two gorgeous, women's fitted Led Zeppelin Ts. One is the classic Stairway to Heaven cover, and one is a rather psychedelic rendering of Icarus and the 4 Logo. I have been saying for a year now that I really wanted more classic rock shirts....
Does anyone happen to have Snoopy's Christmas? The song, I mean. It's one of my favorites, and I have yet to hear it. Also, Blink 182's I Won't Be Home For Christmas.
Today, no matter what, I am getting some lights up. And tomorrow, we get our tree! Which means we need to move some furniture today....fun!
So I finally got myself some salon quality scalp treatment and whatnot, and I have to say, I'm very pleased. I used an overnight treatment that while leaving my hair rather greasy overnight, did do the trick. My hair's softer, and my scalp is not itching or flaking today. It's Ellin LeVar, ScalpRX. I've also got a quick spray treatment to use with it. While it may not stop my hair from falling out, at least it'll keep what I have shiny and soft and healthy looking.
And last but not least, major apologies to all the people who have been trying to IM me recently. I haven't been at the computer all that much, especially in the evening/at night. :(
