Real Life And Christmas Stuffs
In case you, like me, somehow avoided this life lesson up until now: multi-tasking on the toilet is never a good idea.
Anyway! Ended up running some errands after doing a bit of cleaning. Took out trash, tidied the living room, scrubbed the sink and counters and stove, and cleaned up the bathroom. Then![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nijawial was craving Taco Bell, and as I'm ridiculously influenced by the mere mention of food, we headed to Hasting's and Taco Bell. After I changed out of my Victorian cleaning ensemble. I think it says something about me that I put as much effort (if not more) into how I dress for just staying in to cook and clean as I do to go out. In fact today I dressed down to go out.
To clean, I wore a long Victorian ruffled skirt, an elaborate Victorian ruffled blouse, a ruffled half-apron and pinned my hair all up. I changed out of that into an old hoody and jeans, and took my hair out to actually go somewhere. I still don't entirely understand my own thought process.
We returned GitS2: Innocence and rented Iron Man, The Lost Room and Steamboy. Then had delicious Taco Bell and walked home. I'm a bit achy and stiff now, but glad for the walk. Now I'm considering taking an early bath.
NOW! About Christmas stuff... I need to do cards early, because I suck at this sort of thing. So if you want a card, I'll be posting a nice screened comment entry directly following this one for addresses to mail cards. And my own, of course.
