Mantis Friend!
So, since Mantis Friend was still hanging around the door this morning, and didn't leave all day, we decided if he wanted to live with us that damn badly, he could. So we set up a nice terrarium for him and ushered him into it. He doesn't at all care about humans - he spent some time just chilling on my shoulder last night - and was very easily coaxed into captivity.
Now he's exploring his new home, in between cleaning himself and staring at us.
But! Mantis Friend needs a proper name! He is, admittedly, not the brightest of bulbs. We discovered him repeatedly attempting to climb onto a hot lightbulb. He'd touch it, jerk back and lick his little foot, then touch it again. So we have a selection of names, and I turn to you, Oh El Jay Land, to aide us in naming our little friend.

Zorak, of course, for Zorak of Space Ghost fame. Rusty for Dr. Thaddeus 'Rusty' Venture, and Matsuda for Touta Matsuda of Death Note. (Can you tell we're Adult Swim junkies?)
